Here is a super opportunity for a "Hatventure" with Irish Milliner Lina Stein , The Lina Stein School of Millinery is offering this week-long intensive course for visiting students to focus their attention on hats, millinery skills, meeting people, discussing the world, and anything “hatty”. No previous experience required! Lina makes the most beautiful Sculptured Hats from Sinamay.

There is a Hat Competition at the LA County Fair.. The theme is

Fashion Walk

The Millinery Guild Members will be participating in "Fashion Walk" Downtown Los Angeles February 18th 2010 5:30pm-9:00pm. There will be an eclectic assortment of Hats,Accessories and Clothing from Local Artisans and Shops. There will be tons of things to buy and want, you won't leave empty handed.

Our Member Anita Hopkins participated in a "Fiber Feast Show" in Long Beach along with Cafe Crochet. Here are two quotes from Anita that describe her perfectly!
